How to hook up an MSD ignition box?

How do you install some MSD on a 280ZX.?

• It's a 1979 280ZX with stock fuel injection. I bought a streetfire ignition box by msd. From what I have read it's pretty close to the 6al. I have an msd blaster 2 coil in the car, it works fine without the streetfire. Anyway, can anyone tell me how to get the car running for more than 1 second and no backfires with the streetfire?

  Starving for fuel will cause back fires dist cap mis wired will cause back fires. Something your doing with the street fire box is throwing off the ingnition relay or causing the timing to not function properly. Keep in mind higher spark energy may be causing the center of the distributor rotor to burn out. I ran a 6-AL MSD coil MSD plug wires on my 1978Z and could not keep dist caps or rotors on it
