What's the difference between fairlady z and 350z?

Whats the difference between these cars?

  • A guy at work has a Nissan 350Z with Fairlady badging on it. My friend says its a special edition model that comes with a turbo. I say he's full of crap and its nothing more than stickers. Isnt the Fairlady the base 350Z in Japan?

Most JDM(only available in Japan) Nissan's had different engines, and most were turboed. But the only way to get one over here is by importing it with tons of money. He probably just got the replica badges from the JDM 350z and put it on his car.

Tell your friend you have a Turbo too.. that is, after you put a TURBO sticker on your car. Better yet, just get a piece of tape and write TURBO and slap it next to your car's make on the back. Then tell him got you 120 more horsepower out of the sticker, you win.
