What kind of mufflers sound the best?

Nissan 300zx mufflers?

  • my nissan 300zx needs new mufflers . im buying new ones but im not sure which ones .. i really like the sound of the mufflers on the nissan 350z but i dont no what kind of mufflers they are. i dont know alot about mufflers. Are magnum mufflers any good. suggestion on other types of mufflers would also be good . thanks for the help ....oh and my car isnt twin turbo

    INGEN, GREEDY, STILLEN, Or AEM What you can afford. Your V-6 engine will not sound like the 350z. Don't just weld in a couple mufflers buy a cat back system with large pipes that way you will get the best exhaust flow for future modifications

I'm a Magnaflow guy but the Magnaflow I saw on youtube for the 300ZX didn't sound so hot. However Top Speed makes a good system according to both reputation and this vid http://youtube.com/watch?v=IfXeOBAAEp0&feature=related

John Paul is right. Go with the whole catback. Stillen is really good, however your 3.0 will not sound like the 3.5 it can't. Good Luck!
