How do you disconnect the alarm on a 2000 Nissan Maxima?

    Unless you added an aftermarket alarm, you don't need to do anything. to be sure, don't use the keyless fob to lock the doors, use the button on the door to lock them, and no alarm of any kind should be armed

Nissan's do not have alarms on them, they have a keyless entry option that you use a remote to unlock and lock the doors and to make the horn honk to locate car in parking lot and also to open trunk. you can take car to a Nissan dealer and ask them if they can disconnect the module or computer that controls or makes the horn honk and lights flash. If you have an actual alarm system then it was an aftermarket add-on by the dealer or original owner. take car to a stereo/alarm installer like car toys and pay them to remove the alarm. good luck
