What's better Nissan rogue or Honda crv?

Whats better honda or nissan?

  • Wich car is better honda or nissan? Whats the diffrence between v-tech engine and non v-tech?

  • Answer:

I have had 5 Nissan's and know many Honda owners, both other great cars and great engines looked after both these engines will see you right.V tec is a great engine info below. But both makers other great cars new and old. No one is better both have great and bad motors. And both have great long lasting engines when looked after. As for the Buy Japanese is that like Ford with mazda and Toyota and VW all part of Fords partnership..So car makers have shares and buy from the other companies also and make parts foe each other. To say stay US is silly as iam sure there not really on a Japanese or similar made PC and watch a US made TV set .

I buy nothing but American made, but out of your choices go with the nissan.

I've been in the car buss. for nearly 20 years and have owned both Nissans and Hondas. Both are excellent vehicles and quality differences seem to be few. Nissan's advantages seem to be better paint and the advantage of a timing chain on many of the models (timing belts will cost you at least $600 to change on a Honda). Honda has the advantage of higher resale value in many areas of the country. Either vehicle, well cared for, will last between 200-300k miles. As a final note, the Nissan will usually have a more sporty drive. Good luck as either is a good choice!

People who believe Nissans are unreliable are very, very ignorant individuals. Nissans are just as reliable, if not more reliable than Hondas. I have an '02 Nissan Sentra, and that car WILL last forever. I have absolutely no doubt of that. I never had ANY problems with it, not even MINOR ones. I seriously doubt any Honda that's 6 years old can be more reliable or even last longer than my Sentra. People's perception of Nissan quality should be as high if not higher than people's perception of Honda. I have experienced Nissan's high quality. Vtec is variable valve timing. It allows the valves to variably lift and close depending on acceleration. Honda is NOT the only car maker that uses variable valve timing. Both Nissan and Toyota have been incorporating it in their vehicles as long as Honda has. Actually, Nissan's system, VVEL, is a more advanced system than Honda's is. Also, all Honda motors have the lowest torque numbers than either Nissan or Toyota. Torque is just as important if not more important than horsepower is. Nissan motors put Honda motors to shame with how much torque they generate. Honda motors NEED Vtec just to keep up with Nissan motors, which have variable valve timing anyway, but Nissan motors are more powerful because of the superior amount of torque their motors produce.

I've had both cars. And liked them both. Honda can go forever if you take care of them. Like 300K miles. I enjoyed the nissan, and just traded for a brand new one. I am LOVING that car. Don't know about the engine though.
