1st- Most import part to go faster is fuel. So get a Walbro 255 fuel pump. 2nd-Depending how fast and horsepower you want you will need injectors with a piggy back. If you just want something simple no more than 400hp then I say some 660cc injectors with a MAFT set up. 3rd. You got your fuel coverd now you need more air. Still around 400 hp a Big 16g turbo will get you there with a Big Front Mount Intercooler. check this turbo out http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16296&cat=426&page=1 check this FMIC out: http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/search.php?veh=2G+DSM&cat=383&type=Intercooler+Kits 4th. You need a bigger exhaust minimum 3in. Downpipe all the way back. You can actually get the exhaust first if you want because you don't want to try to make 400hp with a stock exhaust so this should be on top of the list. If you want more hp then you have to go bigger on everything. Hope this helps.

Apparently everybody is just listing off parts. First off, your eclipse has the crankwalking nightmare of an engine. Turn the power up and you'll blow the engine. Since you just bought it, I don't think you want to rebuild the engine just yet, so if you want more power, trade up to a better car. Next...a blowoff valve, turbo timer don't help make power. Third, you need to learn more about the car before you try to upgrade it. A 2g DSM turbo (1995-1998?) car comes with an anemically small turbocharger, the T-25. It's capable of about 250hp at best, so you can't really make much power with it. Without upgrading the turbocharger, that's where you're stuck, and the stock injectors max out at about the same point too, so you would have to upgrade the injectors and then get the ECU retuned for the larger injectors if you want a larger turbo. Right there you're at $2000, minimum, if you can do the work yourself. Also, a GS-T is front wheel drive, which is horrible for anything besides delivering pizzas. I'd say, sell your GS-T, find a car worth modifying, like a 90-92 GS-X or other AWD turbo DSM, or a V8 mustang or camaro, or 240SX, etc.

the cheapest and easiest would be a bigger exhaust. turbo cars are restricted by their stock exhausts and silly cats. magnaflow 3" turbo back would free power up. Headers too. If you want more power, you would have to get these in a package; a bigger turbo, injectors, and a fuel pump.
