1999 MItsubishi Eclipse rear view mirror- How do I re-attach?
-
My rear view mirror fell of the windshield yesterday-I guess the adhesive was old. So I went and purchased a "repair kit" which seemed to be glorified super glue to try to re-attach it. The directions on the kit say to unscrew everything from the metal base, and then use the adhesive on the base to connect it to the windshield. But, there is no screw on the rearview mirror to remove it from its base. Does anyone know how to do this?

Answer:
i don't know how to do this but i have a mitsubitsui and i would suggest taking the repair kit you purchased to the dealership and maybe they''ll put it back on for you. I would not want all the glue build up on my car door if i was to do it wrong the first time, you know?
