What can I use to play my iPod in my car?

I have a mercedes benz 2006 class c 350. What i would use to play my ipod in the car?

    You have three options for playing the iPod throigh the factory stereo. 1. is the auxillary audio input (it's a "mini-jack" type socket concealed on the left inner wall of the glovebox - note that not all trim options/model years were getting it as standard, but if the car is missing it, it's fairly easy to retrofit. And cheap, too - the required wiring harness is just couple of bucks 2. If the car has got either APS50 or COMAND head unit, you might want to have the full iPod integration (with song names, steering wheel controls and so on). This requires the factory MB iPod interface installation. I am not aware of pricing in the US but in Europe the installation kit goes for around $250. 3. You may also consider a third-party interface unit ie. Dension IceLink (google for it and it will take you straight to the manufacturer site). They work okay and have more features than the factory ipod interface.

You can't, the electronics in the car will block any signal your device produces. Mercedes engineers are very thorough in their design, you will have to use the sound system that was installed at the factory. Sorry about your luck!

You only have 1 option according to Benz. You have to install an iPod integration kit. Later models could be factory ordered with what Benz refers to as a Media Interface system which would have the plugs in the glove box for an iPod, USB, and AUX cable. That system was not available for the 2006 model year and even if it was, it's not something that can be retrofitted. It had to be installed at the factory.
