What are good brands of cheaper lowering springs?

I have 2006 Mazda 6 and am thinking about lowering it?

  • HOw much should i lower it? i dont want it on the ground but i dont want it as high up as it is now? and also what are some good brands of lowering springs and where could i buy them ?

  • Answer:

id recomend 40-50mm lowered on springs, such as pi springs or g-max but make isnt really important. i lowered my civic 40mm and its made a massive difference visually but isnt too impractical. i have PI springs and they seem to be good quality. you should be able to get get them frim any basic performance shop, halfords, r-tec etc. or even ebay or other website, just google 'mazda 6 lowering spring'. price is only about £80 so not too expensive. expect stiffer ride though, will feel bumps alot more, but will handle better. help that helps!
