Which Brand of hair extension glue?

Hair Extension Help-How do I fix this? D:?

  • So I have hair extensions, and I removed them a few days ago to let my scalp rest a little before putting in new ones. (I use the proclaim latex hair glue;just a random fact I guess.) I'd done this 1,000 times before. This time I had huge blobs of glue stuck in my hair. Usually i can get it all out. But since there were massive blobs,it wasn't that simple. I did a little research online, and what I found suggested I use proclaim bonding remover oil (or something like that) it didn't really help at all. It just made it easier for me to pull the glue blobs apart. My problem now though,is that my hair is EXTREMELY oily/greasy/sticky. I don't know how to get it out..i've tried washing it about 7 times and it doesn't work. What should I do? My new hair exstensions are coming it the mail this week and I don't want my hair to be like this when I apply them.

  • Answer:

Try using different shampoos and conditioners that are specifically for oily and greasy hair and only put a 2 pence piece amount of each into your hair. Make sure you wash it out completely so your hair is literately squeaky clean and then don't put any other products into your hair keep doing this for a week or two and see how it goes. I wouldn't put your new extensions in yet as it might make your hair worse. If it doesn't get any better then I would go see your GP and they may give you a prescription shampoo to use. Hope this helps :)
