How to fit a Manual Turbo Boost Controller Bleed Valve Kit to a Vauxhall Cavalier Turbo?

Is this a good turbo for 645 bucks?

  • Kit Includes: T3/T4 Turbo Charger Piping Kit Oil Feed Line Kit Boost Controller 28''X8''X2.5 Intercooler Pull Type Blow Off Valve OIL CATCH TANK and is this all i need for a turbo

  • Answer:

I bet you found this on ebay or something. You are missing a very important part... The turbo manifold for your engine. If it was ebay, you can do better. If it is a name brand such as HKS or especially Greddy it is a great deal. Oil Catch tanks are pretty much useless and can be made from an empty gatorade bottle. Just use a breather valve instead. Cheaper and they look cool. It is probably a manual boost controller. They are kinda pointless and are meant to be mounted under the hood because of pressure drop over long hose. electric are the way to go but are more expensive. All you really need for a turbo kit is Exhaust Manifold with adapter(flange) for turbo, Down pipe that will adapt to your exhaust, (unless you are making an exhaust system which is also a good idea) Intercooler, Piping, Performance Filter and EITHER(or both) Wastegate, Blowoff Valve(BOV).

That is incredibly cheap. TurboKits cost $2500-10,000. New. And used turbo kits usually cost at least $1000.
