Do people babysit in Sydney?

I want to get a babysitting job but i dont want weird people calling my house and wanting me to babysit.?

• I know an easy way to make money is to babysit and I could put up fliers but i don't want weird people calling and asking me to babysit there kids like my neighbors smoke and stuff and i don't really want to babysit them. PLEASE HELP. And i dont know anyone with little kids that dont already have a babysitter.

  Well you put up fliers, you background screen the potential clients. Meet with them, get a feel for who they are and what their kids are like. The number one rule is make sure to watch them at your own house. Find parents who are willing to drops their kids off at your place to watch them, don't babysit for strangers at their house unless you know that enough/are comfortable enough with them to do so. You're going to have to field potential clients and not so potential clients that comes with the job territory. It won't go over well if you put on the flier 'No weird people are allowed to call.'
