How much to charge for an overnight baby sitting job?

I am baby sitting a one year old baby, how much should i charge?

• i live in california,tomorrow i will start baby sitting a one year old baby, the parents will be provinding the food for the baby and i will be babysitting for about 8 hours a day from 6am-2:30 , i still don't know how many days a week..how much should i charge daily? or hourly? thank you :)

  i'd charge daily since you don't know how many days a week and you know the set hours and it's exactly eight hours a day, however if it were all over the place it be a different story and i'd charge hourly. daily i'd charge 60 , however you should discuss this with the parents, however hourly(which i don't recommend since you have set hours and stuff i'd do 7.50 or a little bit more !) seriousally just discuss it with the parents! goodluck with babysitting and hopefully you get the amount of money you deserve!
