Can someone tell me how to pick a lock?

Someone tried to pick my door lock and now I can't get the key in-where do I get it fixed?

  • I have a Mazda, 1997 and recently someone tried to break into it and they broke the lock. I can't get my key in the door at all. Now I have to get in the passenger side and crawl over to unlock the drivers door. This is especially annoying since I am 7 1/2 months pregnant!! Where can I get this fixed? Local mechanic or dealer only?

    get your b-friend or husband whichever applies to you to fix it for you. you can usually get the locks from your dealer and do it yourself pretty easily saving yourself about 200 dollars.

i would take it to a local mechanic unless you are under warranty still then you should go to the dealer

Oh my...you need to get that fixed.. try calling a local lock smith or a little car body shop..they may be able to help. the dealer sometimes charges an arm and leg.

DIY,you can save up 200 bucks.Change the passenger side's lock to the driver side.It's same size,fit to each other.I've done it before.It happen to my Mazda 323 '91 model.

maybe go to a lock smith and have them re-key lock cylinder or handle.
