Where is the amp on a 2004 cts?

Can I connect the OEM subwoofer and amp to an aftermarket headunit in a 2004 Mazda Tribute?

I have a 2004 Mazda Tribute ES (fwd, v6), and it has an OEM subwoofer with a subwoofer amp. I had a kenwood 352u head unit installed, and i love the clarity, but i was very disappointedd when i was told that the subwoofer could not be connected to the head unit for reasons i did not understand. I am going to take it back to the place where i had it installed, and have the employees take another look at my car to see if there is anything that can be done. Does anyone else know if this is possible? To hook up an aftermarket head unit with the OEM subwoofer/amp in a 2004 Mazda Tribute? Or is my only option to buy an aftermarket subwoofer and amp? Thanks!

You shouldn't have any problems, just buy a wiring harness off ebay for your exact car off eBay.
