How long until birth control works?

Ive been using birth control for about 6 months. i just had my period and started birth control again, but about 4 days after i started the birth control again i had sex without a condom. could i be pregnant? what are the chances of it, do i have to use a condom at the beganning of the birth control?

Though most birth control methods are not 100%, I'm sure you're not pregnant. You've been on bc for 6 months, so it is actively in your system as long as you are taking it around the same time everyday and have no missed more than one pill.
