How do I change speaker size in my car?

2006 Lincoln Town Car Speaker / Subwoofer size?

  • This is driving me crazy!! I own a 2006 Town Car Signature with the standard CD / Tape player with 4 speaker setup looking to upgrade to a different system. Depending on where you check and who you ask, every body has a different answer for the size of the speakers in the front door and rear package tray. Nobody can seem to tell me what size woofer would fit my car in the package tray. The Speaker size I found to be applicable according to different sources ranges from 5x7, 6x8, 6x9. I would appreciate it if anybody can help me. Regards, Gus
