How do you reset the code for your Mercury Keyless entry pad?

I purchased a 2004 Lincoln LS and I don't know the keyless entry code how do you reset it?

    Unfortunately, Lincoln no longer puts the code on the trunk hinge like they use to. The only solution that I'm aware of is to have the dealer hook the computer up to the car and retrieve the code. It was about $20 for me to have it done on top of some other service work.

Look in the trunk, probably on the trunk hinge, you will find the original code on a label there.

Check with a dealership. They should have a master code they can use to give you access for changing it to a code for yourself.
