Anyone know how to make the tail lights on a 1990 Lincoln Town car clear ?

Ive seen it done on a few auto websites like car domain where the guys that own a 1990 -1992 Lincoln Town car have the tail lights clear instead of red. If you have any idea on how to do that please let me know your advice.

They were probably using Altezza lights. You could buy them off ebay.
