  • Hi there, i need help finding something, my bf's birthday's coming up, and i want to get him a Jeep Zippo.. ive looked everywhere online, on ebay, etc...theres only a couple of them, and theyr all the same, and not good anough...i know i could go to any zippo place ang get 'jeep' engraved in it, but anybody could do that. i want a nice zippo that has a jeep logo on it, and maybe a pic, but a nice logo would be nice too..., if it sticks out its bettr than engraved,...engraved is boring, to simple, any store can engrave it for u, i want something nice and unique, i already looked up the zippo website as well as all the jeep accessaories websitees..if anyone knows anything else that could help me, pls let me know, and pls dont suggest any of th eones ive already looked at thanks

    You can order them from the directly Zippo company web-site. That's how I found a special one for my wife. That way you know it's a real Zippo lighter. There are fakes around. Do a web search to get the address, sorry, I can't remember it right now.

Get a real nice key fob with the jeep emblem on it and a new lighter. Remove the emblem from the fob. Then clean the lighter case and the back of the emblem real good with denatured alcohol. Cement the two together using a gap filling super glue. If you could find a key fob with a nice relief of a jeep put it on the other side. If you want a better bond, take a second cut file and remove any thing on the back of the emblems that can let an air gap be formed in the bond (file smooth).

Jeep Zippo Lighters are out there on ebay. I collect Jeep Zippo's & Zippo in general. One or two have come from U.K. but mainly I have found older unused ones in mint condition from private people in the U.S. You have to be patient to be a collector. I remember finding a Zippo I wanted, waiting 4 days for it to end, then to be beaten on it by pennies. Then have to find/buy another half way around the world with higher postage/shipping charges. Some U.S. dealers won't even deal outside U.S. This can be a anoying if they have a Zippo you cant find anywhere else ! But there are ways of getting them ??

sorry to say but my wife was upset that she couldnt find one for me eather, the ones that she could find where real grampa ish, i was just fine with the one she had done for me. he might be as well.
