Muffler installation cost for Jeep?

    Well, I wonder if it would have been cheaper to get a shop to install the proper muffler on your car? Now that you have purchased this item you have to call around and ask if anyone will install it for you. Exhaust systems are rather simple to repair but if one piece needs to be replaced the other components need to be evaluated as they might need to be replaced as well. So, call and ask and get estimates and it might be best to return this muffler and just go with a total installation from a reputable repair shop. This way is warrantied as well by the shop. Anything special about a Flowmaster Super 44D flow muffler? I changed the muffler on my 01 Audi TT just for better sound. I am glad I did and it is going strong after 10 years. But Jeep guys tend to get muddy doing off road trips and exhaust system tend to get a hit with all the moisture. Best of luck!
