How do i change the radio in a 1995 jeep cherokee sport?

1995 jeep grand cherokee cd player/am fm radio?

• my 1995 jeep grand cherokee cd player/am fm radio the radio works in the jeep the sound comes throw the speakers but when i put a cd in the cd player it reads the cd it also starts counting the time on the song but there is no sound throw the speakers and i know the cd player/am fm radio works cuz i tested it in my other jeep grand cherokee what is a 1994 so ever thing fits and it works in that jeep befor i put in the cd player/am fm radio there was a tape player in there with a 6 cd player changer in the way back of the jeep and i tired to see if there was a wire into it and nothing but i cant find out whats wrong with it why is there no sound coming out of my speakers with the new cd player/am fm radio when i play cd

  If the speakers work for the radio, then they work. Sounds like the CD player has died.
