Are Jeep Wrangler X series any good? Whats the difference between X, Sahara, and Rubicon??

jeeps are awesome. go the the jeep site and you can see the differences between those models. x is more of a base. sahara is an upgrade. rubicon the beast of offroad.

I used to have a 2000 Sport and traded it in for an 05 X about a year ago. I like it. You can get the X with any of the options you want if you're willing to shop around. Mine (Rocky Mountain Edition) has everything my old Sport had. Air, cruise, hard and soft top, full doors, ect. plus it did not cost me as much as a Sahara or Sport. Hope this helps.

no difference in size. the rubicon has a larger axel dana 44 vs dana 30, higher ground clearance. if you are going off road choose rubicon, if staying on the pavement, shara or x check-out the aftermarket catalogs or www.quadratec.com before buying any jeep brand accessories.

the rubicon is the biggest, if you have kids, go with that, there is a lot of space in the rubicon and you wont get your backseat pplz squished like all the rest of the jeeps. The X is the one i would buy, comparing to the Sahara, it is a little more bigger, comes with a sound system and just little other gadgets. If your looking for price saving..the sahara is your best bet. Its pretty much like the X only is not as fancy and it is small! If ur looking into details, try visiting the jeep site.

heres the deal if you want a wrangler and dont do excessive off roading and you are cheap go with the x but if you want to spend a little more and get some better options go with the sahara if you want to impress yourself and evreyone else and be amazed evreytime you look at your jeep let alone drive it go with the rubicon, i have a 07 and love it. rubicons have 44 front and rears all others have 30s in front and 35 in rear unless you upgrade for extra cost. rubicon has locking axles front and rear no other model has this option and if you get a 2007 you can disconnect the sway bar and have more articulation.
