What's the best car speaker to install in a 1996 4dr Honda Civic?

• currentIy on a moderate budget, i need a pair of "6x9" & a pair of "6.5" to replace the factory installed speakers of the car. It has a Pioneer head (DEH-6950) unit installed. No plans of adding a subwoofer nor an amplifier, but would like to have a clear sound with a good bass, but not expensive. hope you guys can help me out

  Remember that the answers you get are going to very based on personal preference. That being said, if you're on a budget, I'd would go with Pioneer speakers. They don't need a lot of power to sound good, and you can usually get enough power out of an aftermarket head unit which you already have. They can also handle a lot of power if you decide to add and amp later. They also very reasonably priced for the performance you can get out of them.
