2001 honda civic hx transmission problem?
-
Hi, I have a Honda civic hx 2001 with an automatic cvt transmission. The transmission had gone out and it wouldn't move a all when put in gear so I replaced the transmission with a working one and it still does the same the drive light keeps flashing and the engine light is on and the scanner gives me a code saying p1885 automatic transaxle concerns. The car does not move at all no matter what gear it's in. My question is what could it be? The computer on the car is sending the right voltage all the sensors work but in have heard of the transmission being programmed ?? Could that be the problem that it needs to be reprogrammed troughs the ecu?? Please help

Answer:
Is there any noise when you press gas? If nothing than something somewhere is disconnected inspect the whole transmission from engine to the wheels...
