Is the honda prelude and the honda accord suspension the same?

Which Honda would you recomened, a 2001 Honda Prelude type SH or a 2001 honda accord v6 coupe automatic?

    As an automotive enthusiast, I would personally go with the Prelude, due to the fact that it is a sportier car by nature, and has a manual transmission. The Accord coupe is more of a cruiser, in my opinion. If you truly enjoy driving, go with the Prelude. Although the Accord produces slightly more power/torque, the Prelude should be a few fractions of a second faster, due to the manual transmission and its shorter gearing. They are comparable in weight. The Prelude will have better handling. As I said before, it is more of a sports car than the Accord. Plus the SH model has Honda's ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System), which acts as a torque vectoring system to transfer power where its needed during cornering. I say prelude, i dont know for sure. but i know they have good handling for canyons and all of that stuff. Goodluck =)

The Prelude is the better choice here. My friend had both the regular 2001 prelude and then the type SH, and he would whip both of them up and down the mountain roads. He said that there was a noticeable improvement in handling because the SH has the Automatic Torque Transfer System (ATTS), which shifts power to the outside wheel on turns. I believe that the Accord is less sporty, but a more comfortable ride. And the only trims that match the Prelude's power are the LX and the EX. They are relatively the same weight too, so they would probably perform similar on speed, but keep in mind that the Prelude was designed as a sporty car, so it will likely outperform the Accord in that area.

the prelude handling is better. Accord is a lil bit heavy but comfy.

The 5 speed Prelude is faster that the automatic '01 V6 Accord. Handing wise, the SH is supposed to be better for handling. The Prelude requires premium fuel while the Accord does not. With gas going up again, that may be something to think about.
