How much should I expect for my Honda Ridgeline Trade in?

  • I'm going to be trading in my 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL in Good condition tonight for a 2008 Honda Civic. I'm going to clean it out and wash before I go in! What can I expect their offer to be? I already negociated the price of the new car and dont want them to try and give me a low trade in because of that. I have already heared form them that trucks are not selling right now so they cant give me much, blah blah.

You already negotiated the price of the new car? BAD MOVE. never negotiate the price of your new car without knowing the value of your trade in. Your trade in value is something you need to use IN the bargaining process. Depending on how much mileage and the condition, dealer might give you around $14,000 give or take a thousand or so. I would sell it yourself, might be able to get around $18,000 for it. That's what the dealers gonna do anyways, buy ur car for cheap and resell it for another maybe $4,000 profit. Why miss out on that? check KBB. avoid the dealer trade in offers!
