All EX have a sunroof if you do then your in luck its an EX. Second thing is pop the hood near to your left where the header and tranny are they should be a code reading D16Y8 and if so yep you got an Vtec SOHC motor. Easyier pop your hood are the spark plugs closer to the front of the raditor if so yep its vtec. When your in 5th gear going 70mph are you at 3ooorpm yet its a vtec car and a vtec tranny

if your engine said DOHC VTEC or VTEC on it then you have a vtec

There's a big diagonal VTEC across the engine. Honda uses the VTEC and the i-VTEC so if you've got another kind of engine and it's a used vehicle, someone may have changed it out.

Open the hood and look at the engine, it should say VTEC right on it.
