Honda Ridgeline to be discontinued?

  • Is it true that Honda is going to drop the Ridgeline after 2012? If so, what are their plans for a new truck?

    Not only that Honda is closing the Element line down, I was talking with a Honda when I went to look at buying an SUV from them. They said Honda is closing a few of the lines due to the issues they are still having in Japan from the tsunami. They said once the plant is back up and in full operation they will be coming out with some new stuff. Now how true is that I don't know, just what the people at my local Honda said.

According to a thread at the Ridgeline Owners Club, the '12 is the last year for this particular design, but there will be a new, or at least substantially revised, truck for '13. Beyond that, Honda is playing this close to the vest.
