What is the spark plug gap setting for this bike please?

94 honda accord ex spark plug gap?

  • i have a 94 honda accord ex and i need to know the splug gap engine is 2.2 VTEC 4 cylinder.... i heard its 3/4 of a inch BUT the spark plug gap tool says inches like .020, .030 and i have no clue what it is now anymore please help.

The gap for most of the cars I've worked on has been between .030 and .045 inches. There should be a sticker under the hood with emissions information as it is required by law that the manufacturer put one there. On that decal will be your plug gap information. Failing that, the parts store where you purchased your plugs should have the gap settings in their computer. If you've already got the plugs, then call them and they can let you know. Most of the times that I've bought plugs, they've even written the gap on the box for me. ;-)

it's posted on the emissions decal affixed to the hood when opened. the spec is 1.0mm +/- 0.1mm or .035 to .044 inches ( i think )

NGK plugs are strongly recommended and are pre-gapped.
