How much would it cost too replace the front bumper of a Honda Accord?

  • One day while backing up from the parking lot, I hit a Honda Accord but there's a slight dent and some scratches, and i was wondering how much it would cost? They said it was going to be $800! But i don't know if thats too much to just replace the front bumper?

    Yeah these people are looking at dealer pricing and the labor to install it. You need them to get another quote. The bumper itself shouldn't cost $800 unless it's brand spankin new model. And if you were backing out of a parking spot I'm pretty sure the law will say that it was their fault for not yielding. I'd get a lawyer or take it to small claims court.

Depends on the year accord. 90-94 i'd say about $80 for the bumper itself, without painting it. 95-02 would be about $150 for the part itself, minus paint. 03 and anything newer would cost like $200, minus paint. Colors vary, but just for a bumper, unless you're lucky at a junkyard, it's about $500 at a dealer.
