Would you say Toyota ripped off Honda's commercial?

  • I've been seeing the Honda commercials with "Mr. Opportunity" for a while now and his little saying at the end "The 2010 Honda Clearance. It's the only thing from Honda that won't last." And today right after seeing that commercial, I saw one for Toyota where they said something similar to "Unlike our toyotas, these sales won't last"

    Not really. There aren't really a lot of original ideas for car commercials, and about half of them are trying to convince you that this clearance is soooo limited and they're never going to have another sale again. So both of them are pretty much ripping off every car commercial ever made.
