How fast is the new Civic Type R?

Is it possible to bring a brand new civic type r to the US? ?

yes you can registering it is a pain and it will cost you alot of money but you can, i would suggest just buy a clean civic comparable and do the rhd conversion with some jdm goodies that way it is already registered in the us.

Hell yeah! But if you got money to throw around do it. its an expensive import, if your from cali plan on paying big buks to DMV and smogging that bad boy. Like the other reader said, just look for one out here, theres some bad *** civics converted to CTR"s. for way cheaper too.

You will need the $30,000 US dollars for the car, another $25,000 for importation and legal fees, fight with US Customs to inspect the vehicle, find a Insurance company to cover it as it was not released in the U.S., Then if you live in a state that requires SMOG testing you will have to buy all the equipment to make it pass.
