How to you change the headlight bulb in 2004 Honda Accord?

1993 honda accord se headlight bulb question.?

  • to clear things up im not very car savvy. ok so i wanted to get a pair of blue tinted headlight bulbs for my 1993 honda accord se. I was looking around at auto stores and the prices were ridiculous so a friend of mine bought me a pair of 9004 blue eurolights sb's off amazon for around 18$ so they should come in the mail soon, coincidentally my passenger side headlight went out today so i went down to walmart to get a single bulb and from what i found out with no help from the walmart employees since they had no idea what i was talking about is my car uses 9006 bulbs at least i think. my question would be does my 93 accord use 9006 bulbs and is there anyway possible i could get the 9004 euros to fit? i would greatly appreciate any information or advice on the subject. thank you for your time.

    The 9004s will not fit unless you shove it in really, really hard. Actually, no that won't help either. Sorry.

you need to take a more practical view to this. start my removing the old bulb and have a look at it. it is a good idea to look at how it come out and what way up it goes. now for the bulb, it is all about the base, the plate that positions it and holds it in place, then it is the shape of the bulb glass and the wattage, it is likely to be a 55/65 watt, and 12 Volt, you can get larger size wattage bulbs but do not go to big. now you can start looking for bulbs, now you know what it looks like and when you pick one up you will know if it will fit or not and if you are not shore, take the old one with you.
