When will Honda bring back the accord hybrid?

I need the help of a PRO with my 91 accord...?

  • i have a 1991 honda accord but it has a problem -right now when i turn it on i have to warm it up really good otherwise it gets accelerated -after driving it when i put it in park the rpms keep going up and down between 1 and 2 -while driving it when i stop at a light or where ever the rpms go slightly below 1000 then go back to normal and it shakes until it goes back to normal -the check engine light used to come on after a while but it doesn't do it anymore ---i took it to a mechanic he said bring it back when the check engine light stays on but it hasn't come on anymore please help me out i need to know what's wrong with it

The problem you have is known as hunting. It is this happens when the ECU is not getting the signals it needs to regulate the fuel/air mixture. There are a few sensors and vacuum pipes that need to be checked and replaced. First check the vacuum pipes as these can get split or blocked. Change the coolant temp sensor as this acts as your choke system. Change the exhaust gas regulator as these tend to get blocked. May be worth getting the diagnostic reader on it to see if any codes are stored. Good luck.
