How much will it cost to fix a burnt valve in a 2000 Honda CRV?

  If you dont know a thing about installing new valves then yes, it IS difficult. Mainly because if you remove the cams and do not mark the exact point of the timing chain then you will have catastrophic engine failure and damage. $1500 sounds way too high. Ultimately if you pay the $1500 your eliminating a huge headache. Save yourself some money and buy the Head yourself. Then just have him install it. Hope this helped.
