How to hook up an MSD ignition box?

94 honda civic with msd ignition problem???help?

• hi i have a 94 civic ex with an msd ignition system and a msd blaster ss coil now the problem i am having is that my car wont start do to no spark or lack of spark. my ignition system is hooked to my positive on my fuse box and it is grounded there also and a positive lead goes from msd ignition to the blaster ss coil and it is grounded to the frame,i tryed to start and get no spark. but later i i tryed connecting a wire from the positive terminal from the fuse box and touching the other end to the pos on the blaster ss coil and got the engine to start for a sec then dies so i am lost and dont know if the blaster coil is bad or is just not getting any power to it?????

• Answer:

  recheck your wiring verses the factory wiring. Maybe go to JUST the blaser coil and see if it works with the factory setup.
