Honda civic transmission?

2001 Honda civic hx automatic transmission problem?

• Hi, I have a 2001 Honda civic HX with a CVT transmission 1.7L gas motor. The transmission went out and I had it rebuilt the code the scanner gives me is p1885 (automatic transaxle concerns) and that's the same code it gave me before the transmission was rebuilt. I turn on the car and I put it in drive,reverse,neutral and it does not do anything the car does not move at all no matter how much I accelerate. I had a mechanic check it and he fou d out after a diagnostic the code p1885 meant a bad drive pulley input speed sensor on the transmission. Today I bought one put it on there and it still does the same thing the car does not move at all the check engine light is still on and the DRIVE light on the gauges blinks like it did the first time the transmission went bad. The mechanic that checked it said that the transmission looked fine and it had to be the bad sensor but I replaced and it does the same thing. What could it be??
