What should i feed my baby coturnix quails?? Can they eat cornmeal??
Answer:

You need to feed them chick crumb, because it has the high protein content they need to support their very rapid rate of growth. It's best to give them the non-medicated kind as the anti-coccidiosis medicine in the medicated sort will overdose them as its intended for larger chicken chicks. Don't give them cornmeal, it's not balanced for their needs.

Your eggs hatched?!?!?!?!?!?!? Yaaaay! Good for you!!!!! I knew they would. Anyway, they really should eat chick starter instead of cornmeal, as it is far better for them. I imagine, though, that it can be used as an occasional snack. Just not a staple. And none of that medicated feed either. That's for bigger birds, and it can overdose them.
