I lost my ball python how do i bring him out of hiding.

I have a baby corn snake & an adult ball phython can i keep them together?

• The corn snake is maybe a foot long hes very small & the python is a couple feet long. Iknow its normally not ok to leve snakes in the same cage espessially if a diff species or diff sizes BUT the thing is.... my ball is very friendly & non agressive. he has never bit anybody or anything & i bring him around every were i go... very well rounded & i highly doubt he would ever harm my little corn snake as long as i keep them both well fed. A few times my phython has snuck his way into the corns side of the cage & when i noticed, they never hurt eachother they just snuggled. the tank i have is VERY large so space for two snakes is not a problem. I also have multiple logs, water dishes, and plants that fit comfortably inside the cage to allow for various hiding places & the temperature varryed throughout the tank to allow the snakes to choose whats most comfortable. Whats your opinion or suguestions ??? please help !? is it ok to just keep them together perminately !?!?!? btw... they ball is a male & im not sure if the corn is a girl or a boy. SO what could be the different senarios or problems please help i want to keep them in the same cage

  NO. Don't ever mix species. And don't ever mix babies and adults together either. You shouldn't ever even put 2 of the same species together even if they are the same size. You're asking for a lot of trouble if you do. They can injure each other, stress each other out, maybe even not eat anymore. Just...no... even if they snuggle once and a while, it doesn't mean they're going to always snuggle. If I were you... I wouldn't want to even try to take that risk, because you might wake up one morning, or come home at night or during the day after being gone and find that one has eaten the other, injured each other, or whatever. Ball pythons warm side of the tank needs to be at about 90-96*F. Corn snake warm side is I believe around 80-85*F And that's actually a big difference. SO there's another reason not to keep them in the same tank. Ball pythons require a humidity level of about 60-70% daily. And level of about 80-85% during shed. Corn snakes only need (or so I've read) a level of about 55%. Again.. big difference in the needs there as well. And yet another reason not to put them in the same tank... If your ball python, doesn't have the humidity level's right (and I would guess it's the same for the corn snake as well), then your looking at possible respiratory infections and other sicknesses as well.
