Where should I connect my remote wire?

What wire from my bulldog remote starter do i connect to my keysense wire? i have a 2003 saturn L series?

  • i installed the starter and the bypass module and everything works great its just that i dont know what to wire to hook up to my keysense wire in my car to keep the check engine light from coming on. i am thinking its the factory alarm disarm wire from the remote starter but im not exactly for sure. or maybe its the door unlock wire. please let me know. all i know is that the keysense wire needs to see a (-) during start to keep the check engine light from coming on. but i know know if just putting a ground wire to it is enough or if it will screw something up. any insight on what to hook to this keysense wire would be helpful. thanks

  • Answer:

I don't know what model starter and bypass you are using. But read through your instructions, and there should be a wire for a security bypass output. and when you read the description for that wire it should tell you something to the effect of; "This wire will be used to operate an external security bypass module when required. Wire will hold a ground output the entire time the remote starter function is enabled". Chances are if you are using a bypass module you already have it tied into that, so you just have to tap into that. hope this helps!
