How to install an antenna in a 2000 GMC Yukon?

I brought my 2000 GMC Yukon through a car wash and my antenna snapped off. I went to a GM dealership and was quoted just under 300 dollars which seems way out of whack to replace an antenna. You can't just go to wal-mart and a get an antenna and screw it on, the whole wiring harness needs to be replaced. Any info would be great!

pay $300 or find the schematics online at chiltons www.autoparts.com it will tell you how to do it. You can go to a junkyard and buy the piece. Or google GMC trucks and there will be a how-to section.
