Why do rear speakers are not working?

What would you like My rear speakers not working in 2005 sunfire?to ask?

• I bought a 2005 sunfire about 4-5 months ago and when i bought it the rear speakers werent working so i checked the fade and balance ect and it was all set the right way so i figured it was the stereo itself and my gf bought me a new stereo and the rear speakers dont work still and its wired the right way and everything. i'm gonna replace the speakers in the future but i want the stock rear speakers in my sunfire to work. and i was wondering if anyone would know how to fix them and or how to tell if they are blown. any help would be nice.

  i have an older sunfire, and my speakers didn't work either i just replaced them and put the old covers on so they look original. i don't think it the system its probably the speakers i would replace them. my radio plays great now i would go to the local auto shop and ask if they could test anything i don't know what else to say. sorry im not much help.
