Why won't my Diesel Corsa start?

My 99 Corsa B Envoy (Diesel) is giving me issues, any ideas?

  • I recently bought a Diesel Corsa for my work, which involves many stops/starts a day. I stopped on Saturday and the thing would not start again. I attempted to bump start it, on my own, nothing.I then turned the ignition in hope and she fired straight up. Could it be the starter motor is sticking? If so how much to replace, or could it be the battery?

  • Answer:

Need more info .Did the engine turn over at all the first time?If not it could be something as simple as a bad electrical connection. If it did turn at normal speed it could be one or more of many things.Good luck.

could be battery, starter, alternator, check battery terminals maybe even clean them

I think that its more likely to be the ignition switch.
