What do we need from a fossil fuel?

I need to get a fuel pump for a 2000 ford focus what other models are compatible?

• I need to go to the junk yard and get a fuel pump for a 2000 for focus 2.0 spl sohc. what other makes or models have the same fuel pump as my last few trips found very few 2000 models. If there is a website that has a breakdown that would be great.

  2000-2001 foci use a different fuel pump than later models. That pump was also revised, requiring the fuel tank to be modified for the new style pump. The old style anchors to the bottom of the tank while the new is suspended from the top. There was a warranty extension issued years ago, by Ford, because of pump problems. Best bet is to go to a Ford dealer and let them replace the pump. Hopefully it will still have that coverage.
