What are some good kits for the chevy blazer?

Which to buy?: 2 door ford explorer 4x4 or 2 door chevy blazer 4x4?

For hauling stuff (and friends) to and from places. Something that Looks attractive. Is American. And is cheap. I want to raise it and put all-terrain tires on it. for off-roading and driving on the snowy roads. and upgrade the sound system. and if necessary, upgrade the interior. I have looked into insurance. its fine. originally I was looking at a camaro, but I'll wait til I'm out've college to buy and mod one of those. I've always been a chevy kid. at the moment, I'm driving dad's base model 2001 nissan maxima and would like to have my own vehicle and something I want to drive. GOOD NEWS: if I get a 28 or higher on my ACT, Dad will pay me back for the car. SO: which do I get?

Over here they are called Ford EXPLODER. Motors and transmissions You wouldn't want to touch any thing proir to 2000 .Ford have shagged anyone who has bought one. The Royal Motor Yaught won't even take them for boat anchors. Stick with the Chev

I like my 97 Explorer, with 4.0 sohc, and 174k miles, plenty fast and 20 mpg on the highway.. but the way they are being traded in on the cash for clunkers program, they may get hard to fine and it raised the value on the ones that remain..
