1993 Ford Explorer Alarm Problem.?
-
We have a 1993 Ford Explorer with a factory alarm system. Our remote doesnt work anymore and other people with alarms in their cars make it go off when theu use there own alarm. Can someone tell me how to disconnect the alarm and keep the inside lights?

Answer:
If you can find the alarm module in you explorer, try crafting a sheet of plastic that will divert any water that may get to it. It has been stated that water/rain can get to it, and cause it to malfunction. If you open it up, it may be rusty. You can take a hair dryer to it, as a short-term fix. If this doesnt work, you could always take the fuse out that leads to the horn.
