Ford Focus EV - with butterflies! WTF!! Would you buy this EV or a Nissan LEAF?

Did this video make you want to run as far away from Ford as you can?

    I hear what your saying! But maybe you should watch it again my friend. They clearly state that the display is customizable and they DO have 'a nice bar graph "fuel" gauge'.

looks like the dash is digital, the designers are doing their best to make sure the consumer can't work on their own vehicle, taking maintenance out of your hands. this is being done all across the board with all manufacturers. the only way to stop them is to not buy their products and writing them and saying we want to maintain our cars. this has been going on for over 20 years now, and yes it is a conspiracy with intent. no I'm not nuts, I used to be a mechanic and was told this at the time I went through school back in 92-93. they, the manufacturers, are trying to go "green", and I say kudos, how ever a change in fuel would have done the trick, that is where the oil companies come into play. they are behind the lackadaisical response to the change, congress too. now that they are pushing electric I can only wonder what kind of stuff the oil companies have got in that?
