Best manual for the 1967 Mustang Fastback?

Were can I find a 1967 fastback mustang for cheap as a project car? I mean like less then 1000 dollars.?

  • I want a project car and it's either the 67 fastback or the 69 dodge charger r/t I don't want the charger as much because the 67 fastback is my favorite year of mustang

  • Answer:

anywhere 20 years ago now, forget it! 60's mustangs especially are going at a premium, even the junkers. you need to add another zero to your budget if you want a hope of getting anything worth restoring....then 20k+ at least if you want to be able restore it to anything close to running condition Even 4 years ago they were going for 7-10k minimum, heck the whole reason I ended up w/ a 72 Mach 1 is cause I couldn't afford a 60's mach 1.

Sorry guy - They don't exist anymore. Even a pile of rust with a good VIN & title will cost much more then that.

They are the most popular car around, so all the cheap ones are gone. sorry...

(East) Tennessee. Not to fuel the redneck stereotype, but there are "project cars" galore all over that fine state.
