What do think of the 2001 - 2004 Mustang GTs ?

    lets see, so if you are asking about 99-01 vs 01-04 very similar except for the following and maybe more: 99-early 01 have the Tremec-45 manual transmission while the 01-04 have the Tremec 3650 manual transmisison-smoother shifting and can handle more power. as well as the mustangs got the smoked headlights in 2001, 1999 and 2000 do not have the smoked headlamps and kinda look like the non gt cars. also the premium wheels were just the sliver 5-spoke design from 1999-2001 and then 2002-2004 the "bullitt style" wheels were the premium wheels due to the release of the 2001 mustang bullitt edition. i cant really think of much else at this time, but i hope this helps im really not a fan of the 2005-2009 mustangs unless it is the right color and wheel combination. the 94-98 mustangs look ok but lacked power almost every year, especially the mustang GT's. and the 99-04 had better brakes thank those years anyways. 1979-1993. light, relatively quick and easy to modify, however not the prettiest cars, and hard to find in good shape.

Is there any reason not to include 99-01? Looking at it, he only differences I can see are SLIGHT headlight changes in color, and a hood. That's literally it.

Last time i checked 99-04 are all the same. They are decent cars and better then the 96-98 because the 99-04 use the PI heads and are quicker then the older models.

the 1999 and 2000 were the same as the 2001-2004. the only differences were the hood scoop, side scoops, spoiler, and a black trim to the tail lights was added. these changes go unseen by the average person though. i dont really understand why you love the 2001-2004, but not the 1999 or 2000 when it would only take a little over $1000 to make them look exactly the same if it really pissed you off that those small changes were made in 2001.
